Crematorium hosts Cornish lunch in aid of Air Ambulance
Glynn Valley Crematorium in Bodmin hosted a Cornish Lunch in aid of the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust on 8 May.
Crematorium Manager, Sue Hearn, explained: “We wanted to try something different that would enable us to raise money for a very worthy cause while at the same time raising the awareness and profile of the crematorium. We had pasties, saffron cake and scones with cream and jam as well as other light refreshments.”
“We were delighted that so many people came along to support the event and we were lucky enough to have the general manager of Cornwall Air Ambulance in attendance to answer any questions,” continued Sue.
