In loving memory
Birmingham Crematorium held a Service of Remembrance and Open Day in July so that local families could pay tribute to their loved ones and take a look around the gardens and chapel.
“Our memorial service has taken place for over 30 years,” explained Crematorium Manager, Craig Bennett. “The people who attend take great comfort from it and it’s just a small way in which we can help the bereaved.”
The service was conducted by Canon John Austen, with support from local ministers, Mark’s Church Choir and Birmingham Citadel Salvation Army Band.
