Under this new partnership Dignity plan to upgrade the existing crematorium at Weston Super Mare.
New partnership with North Somerset Council
Under a new partnership with North Somerset Council, Dignity will take over the operation of Weston Super Mare Crematorium.
Dignity will have a 30-year partnership arrangement with the local authority and will run all the bereavement services within North Somerset Council Area. Dignity secured the project under a local authority competitive tender process. The partnership will see Dignity upgrade the existing crematorium with mercury abatement equipment and develop a new five-acre cemetery, adjacent to the existing crematorium and cemetery.
