Three Counties Crematorium host successful Open Day
Three Counties Crematorium in Essex opened its doors to the general public on Sunday 14 June. Guests were invited to take a tour of the grounds and Chapel, view a display of the memorial options and hear informative talks about the crematory.
The event followed much hard work from the team at the crematorium and involved many local suppliers including funeral directors, celebrants, florists, stationary providers and coffin manufacturers. Also present on the day was calligrapher, Stephen Foley, who completes the Book of Remembrance entries at Three Counties.
“Although the sun stayed away for most of the day it didn’t put people off and we estimate that there were about 70 people in attendance,” said Kate Davidson, Regional Manager. “A lot of people I spoke to found the day really interesting and appreciated the opportunity to come to the crematorium and see behind the scenes.”
