What does a Dignity funeral director do?
Here at W. S. Bond Funeral Directors, we are sometimes asked “what does a funeral director do?”, or “what's a typical day for a funeral director?”
Support the family...
It's a 24-hour day here at W. S. Bond Funeral Directors. At least one funeral director remains on call outside our normal opening hours, meaning there's always someone available to help. Whether it's four o'clock in the afternoon or four o'clock in the morning, we are able to collect the deceased, meet the family and begin to offer support.
Caring for the deceased is a critical part of the role, but it's just as important to care for those who have been left behind. Our funeral directors have a responsibility to reassure the family, help to ease their burden and give them the confidence they need to make difficult choices regarding the funeral.
