What do funeral directors do?
It is our duty to guide and support the family at every step of the process and to help them through the initial stages of grief and loss, by looking after the arrangement details on their behalf and offering a listening ear.
Furthermore, we will always have one Funeral Director on call outside of regular office hours, to make sure we are there for the family when they need us, whether that is at 4 am or 4 pm.
Moreover, we are here to guide the family and take on the task of liaising with relevant third parties to make sure the funeral goes ahead in a timely manner.
From when we first collect the person who has passed away, through to chapel visits (if the family so wishes) and to the final goodbye, our team is here to ensure everything goes smoothly.
We are always open to helping local charities in any way we can and take part in outreach activities to help train local clergy in funeral procedures and advise care homes and other public bodies on how to best support those recently bereaved. Everything we do, we do to help and support our families better.
