Our Parlour Service provides a cremation funeral and the use of our specialist service venue, before an unattended cremation takes place at our selected crematorium.
The service venue offers a peaceful and fitting environment in which to celebrate the life of your loved one among family and friends. Once the ceremony is over, the cremation takes place without mourners, carried out with the utmost care and supervised by an experienced attendant.

While in our care, both you and your loved one will be treated with kindness and respect. Using our experience, we will take responsibility for ensuring all aspects are taken care of. From the necessary documentation to allow The Parlour Service and unattended cremation to go ahead, to arranging the third party payments.

The Parlour Service at a Glance

- Required documentation prepared, collected and distributed by us, so the funeral can legally proceed
- You can visit your loved one in our private chapel of rest, by agreed appointment, during normal working hours
- A complimentary online Funeral Notice, informing friends and family of the service and commemorating the life of your loved one
- A basic coffin with lining and fittings included in price, with the option to upgrade to any other coffin or casket from our range
- Your loved one's cremation supervised by a qualified attendant
- Services are limited to those detailed
- The service will be held at our specialist venue only. There is limited flexibility on the date and time of the service
- The cremation takes place at one of our selected crematoriums at a later date, with no mourners present
- There is no embalming service offered
- You will not be able to visit your loved one before the cremation

Our Parlour
The Parlour at our Bridgend funeral home offers a peaceful and fitting space for family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of your loved one. The service will last for up to one hour and, for an additional cost, can be led by a minister or celebrant.
- Seating capacityOur parlour accommodates 50 seated individuals and 20 standing individuals
- Allotted timeThe service will last roughly one hour
- LocationThe parlour is located inside our funeral home
- ParkingThere are 12 parking spaces at our funeral home. There is also a public car park just a 3 minute walk away

We can help you choose the right minister or celebrant for your loved one’s funeral. Popular options tend to include:
If you already have a preferred minister or celebrant in mind, you are more than welcome to use them. We will manage the payment of this third-party cost, as well as handling the relevant documentation, making sure that the funeral can go ahead.
Costs can vary, but as a reference we have listed the fee for a Church of England minister, which is £198.
