The family of John Blackford are sad to announce that he passed away on 1st September 2024 at home with his three children Tony, Jonathan and Emily by his side. He was a beloved brother to Ann and Roy, and loving grandfather to Bethanie.
He had been taken ill in December 2023, and spent his last few months before he passed in his sleep peacefully in the home that he designed and built.
John was working until he was taken ill, still surveying and spending many hours at his drawing board.
He was a much loved familiar face in Leamington and Warwick and will be sorely missed by many friends and family.
DRESS CODE: Wear what you're comfortable in, black is not required. The only requirement is to wear bright socks that don't match, as John was always proud of his collection of bright socks that he would always wear. The idea is that he gets to be the only person in matching ones.
