Margaret passed away peacefully on 3rd June at Connaught Court Care Home, Fulford.
Beloved wife of George Best, loving mother of Alison and Deborah and cherished grandmother of Nathalie, Anja, Joe, and Katie. A well-respected teacher and deputy head teacher, an active member of the St Oswald’s Church family and a long-serving foundation governor of the village school. Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 3rd July at 1pm at St Oswald's Church, Collingham. Please wear colourful dress. Family flowers only, please. Donations can be made to Versus Arthritis in her memory.
