It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Daryl Canes, must announce his passing on Monday 4th October 2024, at the age of 54.
Daryl passed away suddenly in Marlow and will be lovingly remembered by his sons (Charlie, Nick & Theo), his father, Derek, and all who he presenced with his warm hugs and quick wit.
Daryl was a keen rugby player, having played for many different teams (Chobham, and in France, Villereal & Lacapelle-Biron). Many will also know him as an enthusiastic firefighter, serving at Chobham Fire station & also in Villereal, France for many years.
The funeral service will be held at The Church of Ascension, Burghclere at 3:00pm on Monday 11th November - all are welcome to attend. Followed by a family only cremation at Thatcham Crematorium.
A funeral reception will be held at The Carnarvon Arms (details below), from 3:30pm until late. The family will be arriving at around 4:30pm following the cremation.
Flowers or charitable donations are welcome. There are two chosen charities, being The Air Ambulance Service & The Fire Fighters Charity.
