In loving memory of Neil who sadly passed away at Wythenshaw Hospital on 5th January aged 87 years.
Neil was born in Bury and worked for the GPO which later became British Telecom for the majority of his working life. He was based in Morecambe, Bamber Bridge, Whitehaven and South Manchester.
He enjoyed many hobbies including walking, crown green bowling and amateur dramatics. He was an active member of Sale Probus Club, the Masons and Altrincham Methodist Church.
Neil loved to travel and enjoyed numerous cruises and barge holidays with friends.
A family man, he was much loved by his late wife Ethel. He will be greatly missed by his wife Joyce, sisters, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.
