Born in Ayr to Marjorie and Samuel Wight, Timothy spent most of his early life and adulthood moving around the UK and abroad. After a successful career in theatre, TV, and radio, Timothy retired and enjoyed several years sailing, before settling in Scotland with his wife Jocelyn and daughter Samantha.
