Ian Anthony Henderson sadly passed away at Frimley Park Hospital on the 6th July 2023, aged 68 years. Ian will be deeply missed by his son Ben, 'adoptive son' Num, mother-in law Shirley, Aunt Christine and other close family and friends.
Ian served Surrey Police force for over 40 years, intially in Traffic and then moving to the emergency planning department, before retiring in 2021. Ian's family couldn't be more proud of all his years of service in the force.
Ian married his childhood sweetheart Linda when he was 21 and she, 19. Ian and Linda enjoyed over 40 years of marriage until Linda sadly passed away in 2020. During their life together they were very much outdoors people; be it camping in the new forest or Cornwall with their son Ben and the dogs, completing the ten tours hike in Dartmoor or looking after their horse Rosie. Ian enjoyed playing golf and was a member at Worldham Golfclub in Alton where he made many fond friends. Ian was also a keen supporter of Chelsea football club.
Ian will be remembered and missed by many for his great sense of humour and hard working nature.
