Pauline Davy was a much-loved wife, sister, mother, nana and friend.

Born in Metheringham in 1950 to David and Lily, she was the fourth of seven children. After leaving school, she worked in chemists and in retail before having her two children Paul and Louise, then later as a lunchtime supervisor and cleaner in order to fit around her children: family always came first for Pauline.

A keen sports fan, she also enjoyed keeping fit and bowling competitively, which inspired Paul to take it up in his teens. She met the love of her life Bryan in 2004 and they got married in 2005, enjoying caravanning with their dog Fudge, and later Bruno. They also had many happy memories on Warner breaks with her sister Elaine and brother-in-law Terry.

She became a nana in 2013 and again in 2016 with the births of Erica and Niamh who she completely adored. She loved spending time with them — and as she was of her children — was always very proud of their achievements.

Pauline died peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, and will always be loved, remembered and missed by her family and friends.
