It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Culhane, who died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was the loving husband of Jo and a devoted father to Scarlett and Sunni. He was the proud founder of Mayfair Contract Flooring, a business that he built with hard work, dedication, and a passion for success. He lived his life full of love, laughter, and adventure, and touched the lives of all who knew him.

Michael was known for his infectious sense of humour and cheeky wit. He could always bring a smile to anyone’s face and had an uncanny ability to make even the toughest situations a little brighter. He was also deeply selfless, always putting others first and offering support when needed. 

His bravery and strength this last year has been inspiring, and he always remained a protector and source of wisdom to those he loved.

Michael enjoyed the finer things in life, his love for football was legendary, his love for Manchester United less so. In more recent years he enjoyed a round of golf and his ski trips. Special memories were created on family holidays with great friends.

Michael will be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humour, positivity and the respect he earned from those who had the privilege of working and spending time with him. 

He is missed deeply by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He has left an indelible mark on us all.  The love we have for him will continue to live in our hearts forever.
