It is with shock and sadness that we announce the death of Monica Ellis, which occurred on Monday 11th December 2023, one week after suffering a severe stroke. Beloved wife of Robin, mother of Caroline (with husband Paul) and Richard. Much loved Grandmother/Oma of Anna, Mark and Tom and Great-Oma to little Sophie. We are grateful that her final days could be spent in St Faiths Nursing Home alongside Robin who is also resident there. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Thursday 4th January at 3.00pm, at Christchurch, Malvern Road, Cheltenham. GL50 2JH. There will be an opportunity to share memories of Monica, with refreshments, at the back of the church following the service.
There will be a short cremation service at Cheltenham Crematorium on Friday 5th January at 10am.
