Peter (Uncle Pete) passed away peacfully at D&G Royal Infirmary with family at his side.
Loved by all that knew him, both young and old. His door was always open and all were welcome, fresh made coffee or tea was always on tap.
He loved to play his keyboard and would happily entertain anyone willing to listen for hours on end. He will be sorely missed by his Family and Friends from far and wide.
As a long standing Salvationist, his faith was important to him, and this is probably what seen him through the last 18 months in the care home when he was essentially bed bound. As one of the Army officers said, "He has now been promoted to Glory".
