It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Williamson on Wednesday 12th July 2023.

Yvonne was taken unexpectedly ill in March, while hiking in New Zealand. She was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour. She spent her last few months at home with her family and enjoyed visits with friends. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her immediate family.
 
After a family cremation, a memorial service will be held for Yvonne at 12.30pm, Wednesday 2nd August at St Martin's Church, Witcham, CB6 2LQ followed by a time to remember Yvonne together over a light lunch at Witcham Village Hall. The family has requested that all black is not worn, they would rather you wore something you enjoy.
 
Parking has been offered by a neighbour at 5 High Street, Witcham CB6 2LQ (large house with a walled garden immediately before the church). The village hall is 2 minutes walk from the church.
 
The family has requested no flowers but donations instead to the Arthur Rank Foundation in Cambridge whose staff helped immensely to ease the last month of Yvonne’s life. A donations box will be available in the church.
