It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our beloved Dad, Derek Underwood who passed away peacefully on the 15th of April 2024 after bravely living with Lewy Body Dementia.
He was known as "Deadly" Derek Underwood during his cricket playing days and was thought of fondly by his teammates. He was also loved and admired by many cricket enthusiasts and held in high regard right across the cricketing world.
He will be remembered by many as a talented, dedicated, polite and very likeable man.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, partner, friends and all those in the cricketing world.
A private funeral for family and close friends will take place on Wednesday 8th May.
