Mum (to us), Nana (to our children), Sister (to her siblings) and Janet to everyone who knew her passed away on Friday 15th November 2024 after a year long battle with cancer.
She gave her life to caring for others, especially her family and we would like to ask you to join us for a celebration of her life and to share all your memories of her with us.
The service will be at Rawdon Crematorium on Friday 13th December at 1pm. We ask that you wear something blue (however small) because she was never without blue.
After the service we will be hosting a wake from 3pm at the Devonshire Arms Hotel (Bolton Abbey) which is near Mum's home and a place she enjoyed frequenting. We will be arranging transport from the crematorium to the Devonshire and so please let us know if you would like to use it so we can estimate numbers.
Mum would want no tears, but a celebration of a life well lived, of a very special person who was always thinking of others and putting them ahead of herself. She will be very missed but please join us and celebrate her life in a way she would appreciate.
