With heavy hearts but fond memories, we say goodbye to Liz McHugh, who left us on 17th March 2025. Never one to do things the ordinary way, Liz lived life to the fullest—bringing laughter, kindness, and a touch of mischief wherever she went.
All who knew Liz are welcome to join us at her funeral service at Masonhill Crematorium on Tuesday, 1st April, at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward at The Anchorage Hotel in Troon to share stories and celebrate Liz’s life—we would love to see you there, even if you can’t manage through to the service.
Our mum never judged anyone on appearance so please don't feel you need to wear black. We would love you to feel most yourself, wear bright colours, your favourite jumper, or black if you feel that's for you. It's our company she always wanted, she didn't care what we wore.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking people to donate to Alzheimer’s Scotland in Liz’s memory.
