Dewi (Dai) passed peacefully in Wythenshawe Hospital on Monday 18th September 2023, aged 67 years. He was stoic throughout his battle with cancer and comforted by his sons, Andy, John and Rob and his wife Pauline.
In life, Dewi was a kind and caring man, dedicated to his wife and sons and always willing to lend help and support to those in need.
In his professional career, Dewi was a well-respected chartered mechanical engineer. He was regarded as an expert and authority on nuclear lifiting equipment and cranes. Dewi co-founded the Nuclear Lifting Forum and made substantial contributions to the nuclear sector both at a national and international scale.
Dewi was much loved by all his family. He will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered. A great and caring man.
