It is with heavy heart that we announce the death of Vera Marshall, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 20th July 2023 at the age of 91. A beloved Widow to Frank, Mother to Sandra and Janet, Mother-in-Law to Ronald and Philip (deceased), Grandmother to Rebecca and Hannah, Grandmother-in-Law to Christopher and Great Grandmother to Matilda, Vera will forever be in their hearts and sorely missed.
Vera had a love of going to clubs and dancing, and made many friends over the years. Vera had many friends and family members who have fond and happy memories, and her smile and warmth will remain with all those that knew her.
We hearby give notice of Vera's funeral, which will take place on Wednesday 16th August 2023 at 1.00pm at Sandwell Valley Crematorium, Newton Road, West Bromwich, B71 3SX, followed by a wake in celebration of Vera's life at The Malt Shovel, Newton Road, Great Barr, B43 6HN.
We are requesting family flowers only, but welcome donations in memory of Vera for Sandwell And West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust Charity, for which a donation box will be provided at Vera's service.
The family wish to thank everyone for their support, messages and sympathies at this sad time.
