It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Irene Frances Emmans announce her passing.
Irene passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Stamford Bridge and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Brian, her children Andrew and Lorraine, her grandchildren Freya and James, and her sister Margaret.
The funeral service will be held at 1.40pm on Thursday 7th December at York Crematorium, followed by an afternoon tea buffet at the Marriott Hotel.
All those who knew and loved Irene are very welcome to attend.
The family invite charitable donations to Macmillan Nurses in Irene's memory, in recognition of the 14 years of care and support they gave to Irene in her fight against Myeloma.
