It is with great sadness that Su announces that Dee passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on 23/11/23. She was with him.
Anyone that knew Dee would agree that he was a force of nature and relished his corporate, academic and political careers with equal passion. He never wasted a second, he read anything and everything, listened to music of every genre and had knowledge and an opinion on most things. He loved life.
Su would welcome anyone to attend the church, crematorium or refreshments for a few "wee drams" at the Dumfries Arms Hotel in Cumnock following the crematorium service The church and crematorium service will also be live streamed - please contact Su for details.
No flowers please but donations to Diabetes UK would be appreciated.
