Mrs Jane Roberts of Eccleshill, Bradford sadly passed away at Bradford Royal Infirmary on Monday 23rd September 2024, aged 65.
Jane was the daughter of Anne and Trevor and the sister of Philip. born and raised at Chapel street Eccleshill until the age of 8 and then moved to Intake Rd until she married.
She was a nanny in Ontario Canada, then worked as a chambermaid in Germany. She moved to London before moving back to Bradford to be with her family.
She loved music and went to see David Cassidy who she loved! She worked in a pet shop Darvills in Bradford and she was always bringing animals home. she adored animals and always had a house with pets. She loved being a mum to Katie and Sophie and loved being a Nana to her grandchildren Kyla, Emily, Elliot, Oliver and Daisy. She loved family gatherings and cooking Sunday dinners for the family.
Her hobby was photographing and would spend hours trying to get the perfect shot. She loved day trips to the seaside and any excuse to have her family around her. She was the head of the family and had a good sense of humour.
Jane is leaving behind, 2 daughters Katie and Sophie, her elder brother Philip and his wife Nellie, and their children Sarah and Aodhan, grandchildren Kyla, Emily, Elliot, Oliver and Daisy, She also had 2 son in laws Ryan and Jay. Jane was also a dear friend to many and will sadly be missed by all.
Jane's funeral service will take place on Tuesday 8th October at Shay Grange Crematorium at 10:30am.
Family flowers only please, Donations in the memory of Jane would be much appreciated, with all monies going to Macmillan. A Donations box will be left at the back of the Chapel on the day of the service for this purpose.
