Keith’s teenage years in the swinging sixties were filled with typical adventures. He became a very good medium-paced bowler and played regularly for his dad’s cricket team, making it a grand family event with his mum doing the scoring and his younger brother, Steve, sneaking the jam tarts. One memorable story involves a summer holiday trip to Spain with his friends Ron, Terry, and Bernard, where Keith forgot his passport and had to catch the next available flight. How he managed it remains a mystery.
