Eileen and family are sad to share that David passed away peacefully at home on the 24th of September 2023.
We would invite you to join us for a celebration of his life on Monday 23rd of October at 11:30am. You can find details of the funeral and following reception further down this page.
We would appreciate it if you could let the family know if you will be attending the wake so we can have an understanding of expected numbers. You can do this by speaking with Eileen or emailing their granddaughter at samanthahcastles@gmail.com.
We will only be having family flowers at the service, but if you would like to make a donation in David's memory we would appreciate these being made to St Luke's Hopsice, Basildon, who provided both physical and emotional care to both David and Eileen in his final months. You can donate through this page or through a collection box at the service.
The family are extremely grateful for St Luke's Hopsice's support during this difficult time.
