Leslie (Les) passed away suddenly on 25th April aged 92, just 2 weeks short of his 93rd birthday.
Les lived independently up until his death. He enjoyed time with his family, loved long walks exploring local beauty spots, a pastime that he kept up well into his 90s, and right up until his death, attended all of the home games at Chelsea Football Club, which he did for the past 3 seasons with his daughter, Jane.
He was a true Gentleman who put others first and was always there with a listening ear and a helping hand when anyone needed him.
He was devoted to his late wife, Joyce, who remained constantly in his thoughts in the 42 years since her untimely death in 1982.
He is survied by his son David and daughter Jane.
Les was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend, he was truly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends .
