It is with great sadness that the family of George Andrews announce his passing after a short illness, on Christmas Day 2022, at the age of 81.
George passed away peacefully with his two sons, Gary and Kevin, by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, daughter in laws Lisa and Kris, grandchildren Reece, Ella, Dylan and Lewis, great grandson Arlo and all his family and friends. George will be reunited again with his beloved wife of 52years, Marilyn, who passed away January 3rd 2017.
The funeral service will be held at Bedford Crematorium on Tuesday February 7th @ 16.00. Gary and Kevin would also welcome you to join them at the beautiful 13th century coaching inn, The White Horse, 103 Great North Road, Eaton Socon, St Neots, PE19 8EL to raise a toast to George, enjoy some food and share some fond memories. This is a private function and the inn will be open to only attendees of his wake.
There is no dress code for the funeral although Gary, Kevin and the pall bearers will be wearing suits with a splash of blue. In Lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations towards a collection to be gifted to Hinchingbrooke ITU, who’s wonderful staff cared for George with great dignity and compassion in his last few weeks. There will be a collection point at both the crematorium and later at the wake.
All enquiries c/o T L Cobbold.
