Jennifer Mary Evans (nee Williams), 75, of Garnlydan, Ebbw Vale, passed away on 27th January while under the care of the wonderful staff on Tillery Ward at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan, Ebbw Vale.

Jen was born on 7th October 1948 to David Thomas Williams and Mary Cecilia Williams, one of 11 children, with just 2 siblings left, her younger brother Gareth Williams and her younger sister Christine McMahon.  In 1964, Jen met her beloved husband Glyn when they both worked in Everwear Factory, Brynmawr.  They went on the marry on 2nd August 1969 in Beaufort, Ebbw Vale.  They went on to have 2 children, Justin and Rachel, 6 grandchildren, Holly, Jasmine, Cerys, George, Logan and Mabel, then a great grandson, Alexander.  

In her younger years, she worked as a machinist in both Everwear Factory and later Tufs Factory, Brynmawr.  She later worked for many years as a Home Help in Garnlydan, but had to finish due to ill health.  She was very family orientated and devoted her life to doing all she could to help support them in all that they did.
