Sadly, Patience passed away on Wednesday 28th February 2024, after bravely battling a number of acute conditions, with her family at her bedside.
She will be dearly missed by all her children, Alison, Robert & Angela, her grandchildren, Freddie, Eliza, Honor, Beatrice, Eve and Sarah-Joy.
Patience led a very full life from growing up with her parents Dinah and Mostyn in Twickenham to raising her children in Sunbury-On-Thames and then becoming a welcoming pub landlady at The Friend At Hand and White Lion in Wycombe, The George & Dragon in Quainton, The Fox at Carlton, The Plough in Hyde Heath and finally the Rose & Crown at Stone.
Retiring back to her beloved Quainton amongst friends, she found time to do a few final sessions behind the bar at The George & Dragon.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Family flowers only please but donations in Patience's memory are welcomed. As Pai was a big Rugby fan the family have chosen a Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charity with the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation
