It is with much sadness that we must inform you that Maureen Ellen Wood passed away at her home at Belong Atherton on 29th June 2023 aged 93 years. Maureen was a loving mum with four grown children and seven grandchildren. She was formerly a bookkeeper and assisted her husband, Bill Wood, with his business during the 47 years of their marriage. Before becoming ill with Alzheimer's, she was an active member of the Inner Wheel and served as President of the Inner Wheel. She was much loved throughout her life by her family, friends and the staff at Home Instead and Belong Atherton. She was great fun as well as highly intelligent and professional. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
