It is with great sadness that we announce Eileen passed away on 29th August, aged 92. Eileen passed very peacefully in the comfort of her home with her four children by her side, and is now reunited with Gordon, her beloved husband of 67 years.
Eileen’s life was full of love as a Mum, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister and Aunty, and she will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends.
We would like to invite all who knew Eileen to join us in celebrating her life on Tuesday 3rd October. Details of the venue and directions are below. Eileen was always so cheery and loved bright colours, so colourful attire is preferred as she never wore black! But please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
After the service, we hope you can join us for a hot buffet lunch at Miller & Carter (formerly The Bull) in Wheathampstead. Details and directions are below. Everyone is welcome to join us to share your memories of Eileen and celebrate the kind and loving lady she was.
